July 2024 Civil Society Dialogue Series

Introduction

The Society Society Dialogue Series aims to provide a platform for Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) working in the immunisation sector to come together, share knowledge, and collaborate. This session, scheduled for Friday 26th July 2024, will focus on welcoming new members, discussing the Gavi 6.0 strategy, presenting WUENIC Data 2024, and highlighting key advocacy moments for the upcoming quarters.

Objectives

1. Strengthen the Gavi CSO Community
Enhance the engagement and collaboration among CSOs of various countries, sizes, and mandates working in the immunisation sector. Foster a supportive network that shares knowledge, experiences, and resources to drive collective progress.

2. Strategic Alignment and Transition
Facilitate the smooth transition to Gavi 6.0 by providing clear communication on the new strategic framework, objectives, and roles. Ensure that all members are aligned with the revised charter and strategic vision, and understand their contributions towards achieving these goals.

3. Data-Driven Advocacy and Action
Utilise the latest WUENIC Data 2024 to inform advocacy strategies and actions. Empower CSOs with the data insights necessary to identify key areas of focus, track progress, and advocate effectively for immunisation initiatives.

4. Plan and Coordinate Key Advocacy Moments
Identify and plan for significant advocacy opportunities in Q3 and Q4. Coordinate efforts across the community to maximise impact, particularly in areas such as Hepatitis and TB. Ensure that CSOs are prepared to seize these moments and drive the immunisation agenda forward.
