The Community Calls is a platform designed to bring together voices of civil society organizations within the Gavi CSO Constituency. These calls are designed to inform, engage, and empower our constituency, ensuring you stay updated on key developments in the global immunization and vaccination landscape.
As part of the Gavi CSO Constituency, these sessions provide:
- Essential updates on Gavi’s strategies, programs, and priorities, tailored to civil society.
- A forum to discuss challenges and solutions in reaching zero-dose children, strengthening health systems, and improving vaccine equity.
- Opportunities to share insights, best practices, and advocacy efforts from across our diverse network.

The November Community Call for the Gavi CSO Constituency focused on advancing immunisation budget advocacy amid shrinking global funding and highlighted actions in support of HPV prevention, especially for Cervical Cancer Elimination Day of Action.
CSO Dialogue Series – Asia
The Asia CSO Dialogue Series met on October 30, 2025, to review regional immunization progress and enhance civil society's role in implementing Gavi's 6.0 strategy. The session highlighted CSOs' vital contributions in raising awareness, strengthening health systems, tackling zero-dose challenges, and elevating community voices at all levels. Driving Action For Gavi Replenishment
On April 11, 2025, the Gavi CSO Constituency hosted a global virtual consultation to galvanize civil society efforts ahead of Gavi's upcoming replenishment. The consultation brought together civil society organizations (CSOs), global health leaders, and representatives from the Gavi Secretariat to discuss advocacy strategies and mobilization imperatives in the face of pressing financial and political challenges affecting global immunization.
2024 End of Year Community Call
On December 11, 2024, the Gavi Civil Society Organization (CSO) Community Call brought together a diverse group of stakeholders to discuss the latest developments and strategies in global immunization efforts. This call, which lasted 65 minutes, focused on the outcomes of the recent Gavi board meeting and the midterm review of the civil society and community engagement (CSCE) 2 strategy. The discussions underscored the vital role of CSOs in achieving immunization equity and provided actionable recommendations for future engagement.

CSO Dialogue Series - Asia: September 2024
Asia is home to 4.7 billion children and a highly diverse population. As we prepare for Gavi's next strategic period (2026-2030), this dialogue brought together civil society organizations, government representatives, and healthcare professionals to discuss strengthening immunization systems across Asia.

The Power of Civil Society: Over 120 CSOs Join Forces for Immunization Advocacy in Africa
On the 29th of March 2023, the Gavi CSO Constituency, Amref (the Gavi CSO Host), and PATH invited CSOs from all over Africa and the world to the first Civil Society Dialogue Series on the theme Maintain, Recover and Increase: Strengthening Civil Society Led Advocacy Towards Renewed Action for Immunisation in Africa.
